G.O.M (Generation Of Mutants)

Themes

Within this universe stem heroic character/superhero team stories, which are based in a  diverse world beginning from 2020 onwards. 
many relevant political/social themes are covered; War Crimes, Poverty, Social  inequalities, Government corruption, Class  inequality, and a world which promotes superhuman characters of all diversities, promotes  gender/race/religious balance, ages and sizes and  avoids as many stereotypes whilst maintaining a high quality entertainment factor.

Science

In this world/universe (EarthMalaxier), ALL human being genome’s are mutated even though only 60% of the population show these traits. 

These traits included; harbouring amazing supernatural/energy based abilities/defences, human enhancements (all varying on random chance), skills and  scientifically defined identifiable ‘Genome.E’ (Genome-Evolved) cells.

The cause of the mutation - The Sword of Malaxian Steel

It is discovered that the reason for the global mutation of humans on Earth was due to a global shock wave caused by radioactive/mystical sword when it was sent/brought to and impacted on Earth in 2020. The sword was sent from our parallel human inhabited planet Malaxier.  This sword has caused many wars and is deemed one of the most precious objects in the universe.

Social science - Birth

Racism is defunct as the genome evolution (even in non-mutants) had unlocked all parts of our human cells/DNA stemming from our common ancestors, making  race/physical features etc. random  from their parents - meaning that the most hard-line neo-nazi and his/her partner can create a child of a Black or Asian race. An Iranian terrorist of middle Eastern descent, could give birth to a white child. a Hardline Black Panther will give birth to a child of southeast Asian descent.

Though at first these drastic changes may have needed getting used to, with the natural bond of parental love racial identity became a non-importance.

Human Beings
As mentioned before ALL humans have been mutated but only 60% are evolved/show these traits/cells;  so this birthing change/mechanism  affects even the 40% of the recessive celled human population (this isn’t permanent as humans can  manifest to become ‘Genome.E’s’ as their cells are replaced with evolved versions over their lifetime).

Society

Diversity in the world is at an all time high so all that ignorant and thoughtless bickering, violence and hatred we have in this modern day of 2016 between races are now deemed even more non-viable/scientifically debunked. 

People now open their eyes to see that the true enemy who have always been creating these divides  between the people, are the corrupt self  interested members of the (B.M.C.G) Government (until the mutation of humans in 2020).

 

Religion

religion is also no longer misused by fundamental extremists, and is practised freely without fear of  hate and abuse - this is caused by mutual social understanding and improved education from the  Previous Labour Government.

Politics/Voting intentions/Influence

The 2020 B.M.C.G Government is powerful and now unchallengeable within the UK, as the Chancellor of the Exchequer (The Prime Minister Francesca Page’s son - ‘Manipulate’) had  gained the power of almost permanent mental  manipulation abilities and has turned the tide of votes (41% in the election (B.M.C.G 41% Labour 18% Conservatives 18% SNP 9% Lib dems 4% greens 4% plaid 3% ukip 3%) in his mother’s/party’s  favour. Manipulate's power can not work on everyone. Those with a high mental defence, special resistant powers and those with natural resistance to manipulation, ability to sense lies/deceptiveness and many other factors.

He can mentally control approximately 19% of the overall human population.

There is no doubt that out of the 41% of the B.M.C.G votes (16% of his party's votes) were genuine voters.

Government socially engineered Drug War/Experiment

The government now have a scientific program in which they create profitable illegal mutant cell based drugs called genome soul biofuel (G.S.B), which grant the users (human or mutant) with desired/specified temporary mutant abilities but  leave the user vulnerable to critical overdose or with the mutant cancer ‘Genome Soul Syndrome (G.S.S)’  which grants humans/mutants with extra enhanced/ super-powered versions of their wished abilities, but result in severe and often aggressive cases of mental  health issues.

They flood the streets with these drugs targeting and making impoverished parts of Britain, their mutant testing/hunting grounds.

The B.M.C.G government’s goal.. to create and find the most powerful Genome.E and recruit/capture or  harness their cells in order to boost their  private military power and fund private prison systems.

The B.M.C.G also enjoy this as it gives them opportunities to appear heroic in the public eye and test out their enhanced super soldiers.

Their reason? The rumours that Francesca page and her son Manipulate/the chancellor of the exchequer were a practicing fundamentalist levels of a Darwinism based sect of scientology who believed in natural selection in society and that the strongest humans will make it to the top of the social food chain as they wait for annunaki to return. Though this was really a political, public stunt, they weren't half wrong.. Annunaki are fighting an intergalactic war against the reptilians who are investigating the Martians who are fighting each other whilst plotting to invade Earth. but that's another story.

their belief is now that genetically enhancing already enhanced humans will give us a fighting chance against any  unforeseen attack/invasion on earth.... unbeknown to them, earth has something that something wants, put it this war. we have bigger threats than any impending intergalactic war.

Poverty, economics and housing

The poverty levels were decreased under the previous labour government with co-operation from the conservative government, until the B.M.C.G came into power/popular voting intention. 

After the 2020 snap general election the b.m.c.g immediately drastically cut social benefits, completely privatised the nhs, replaced the police force with private own security firms, raised tuition fees to 30'000 per year (scraped grants, replaced all public schools with grammar schools whilst opening the borders with absolutely no controls on immigration. stretched the class wage gap, reduced public spending/services, and despite scrapping the last trident nuclear weapon and pulling out of all wars, they were held responsible for past crimes with the notorious PeaceBreakers (coup members from the u.n peacekeepers) and war was practically taken onto the home streets of the United kingdom. 

These changes left the working class with little opportunities with many often falling into absolute poverty. This poverty is also working in the government's favour.
They need desperate people to rely on them and enter their paid B.M.C.G genetics enhancement programmes which involve testing different, new their d.n.a enhancing drug or using these "volunteers" as G.S.B blood banks.

The others living in poverty in the degrading council estates are left to their own devices; run by gangs, filled with the homeless, neglected sufferers of mental health, limited access to the basic living needs, education and health service.

superheroes and supervillains

there are superheroes and supervillains in the world after 2020. Ironically superheroes usually are targetted and branded as terrorists by the government/police force and many villains derive from the B.M.C.G government labs, usually let go or assigned tasks as independent (rogue) Genome.F.P (Genome Failed Projects). These dispensable superpowered, unstable, destructive forces usually attract the attention of our heroes who end up in a positive light in the public eye. These heroes are either rightfully or wrongly are usually awarded annually in funded live broadcasted events Superhero awards which comes with a list of dishonorable mentions.

The G.O.M (Generation of mutants)

The G.O.M - (Generation of mutants) are the main force in which many of the stories revolve around.

Branded as wanted terrorists by the government, seen as heros by a majority of the general public and the world. they formed in 2020 a few months after the B.M.C.g came into power from a group of rebels who escaped the government's control due to displeasure in taking part or being involved in their crude practices, aggressive classism, little consideration for human life, greed, kidnappings of random civilians based on interest extracting in their powers and their overall goal to expand their power globally.

This band of humans and genome.e's (mutants do all in their might to protect the uk and effectively the world.
